五月中的七天的剧情介绍,US military leaders plot to overthrow the President because he supports a nuclear disarmament treaty and they fear a Soviet sneak attack.
An unpopular U.S. President manages to get a nuclear disarmament treaty through the Senate, but finds that the nation is turning against him. Jiggs Casey, a Marine Colonel, finds evidence that General Scott, the wildly popular head of the Joint Chiefs and certain Presidential Candidate in 2 years is not planning to wait. Casey goes to the president with the information and a web of intrigue begins with each side unsure of who can be trusted.

最后竟然是口炮解决问题。肯定没有打飞机来的爽快。黑白片加深了对外白男的脸盲症。
本片的故事是很不错的，挺吸引人的。不过又要谈到老话题了，政治题材真心不太有感，本片让我有感的是情节的发展，所以政治内涵啥的并感觉不出来。而且不太满意的一点是本片一开始就出现一大堆人名弄得我很懵。本片明星蛮多，马奇的表现稍微亮眼一点。男配提名者的表演也相对挺出彩，完成的很好
这部电影在肯尼迪遇刺后一年上映，结合古巴导弹危机时肯尼迪的处理，还有当时军方的一些鹰派形象，简直就完美再现了冷战时的气氛。在黑白影像下，几处镜头十分有力，配合军鼓，这部电影简直像内部参考片一样冷静。
补，开始不久burt和kirk研究视频里面的第二个镜头居然出自jimmy的<Strategic Air Command>，看来看去我还是觉得弗雷德里克•马奇演技最好
